How do I know if this service is right for me?
This service is for you if you have ever experienced;
Starting then stopping your fitness journey due to lack of support
Wanting to learn about different types of fitness not just a cardio circuit.
Wanting to make serious, sustainable change and ready to put in the work to get the best results
When will I see results?
Results can be dependent on genetics, lifestyle and adherence to your fitness programme. To get the best results please adhere to my recommendations. Some people can see results from 6 weeks, for others it can take up to 1 year. I will be realistic about how long it is likely to get to your end goal, and that is included into your fitness plan.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give up to 24 hours notice before cancelling a Personal Training session to avoid incurring a charge for that session.
How do I pay for Personal training sessions?
This service is a monthly subscription service which is paid through Stripe. This is because this service is averaged over the year on a monthly basis.
What do I need for In person Personal Training sessions?
You will need gym clothing, a water bottle (there are water refilling stations) and appropriate footwear, I recommend clients to look at zero drop shoes as it allows you to feel the ground. There are lots of options on footwear depending on specific needs, so please reach out if you need to discuss this.
What should I eat before training?
I always recommend to clients to eat a balanced meal 2 hours before training, and to stay hydrated to cope with the demands of the workout.
How will you track my progress?
Through my Trainerize app, I can see every time you complete a workout, the intensity of the workout, and your max weight lifted. Each week workouts are scheduled to increase in difficulty alongside your goals. You will need to take progress photos every month, this is essential to see your body changing. You will also need to take measurements every week.
The Fitness assessments are performed as needed to track your progress. They can also be performed virtually.
Is the gym entrance accessible?
St Sidwells Point is fully accessible, with disabled bathrooms, shower, a vision-mate box in each bathroom for an audio description of what is in the room, and accommodations for hard of hearing also. There is also a cafe. The gym has wheelchair accessible equipment.
Do I need to pay for gym membership?
St Sidwells Point Membership for in person PT
For remote training services you do not need a gym membership to get fit, you can get fit from the comfort of your own home and if you have your own equipment we can use that.
